Our story
Polat GP Group traces its roots to a family furniture business established in 1989. Disciplined execution and an unwavering commitment to keeping its word earned the company larger projects, then international ones — and over nearly four decades that reputation became the foundation of a diversified group.
Today the group directs strategy, capital allocation and governance across eleven sectors: media, energy, furniture, software, education, health, metallurgy, law, agriculture, tourism and catering — operating in 27 cities globally. Each sector is run by its own professional management, united by shared values and group-wide standards.

Foundation
Dağıstan POLAT, his father-in-law Mehmet Demirci, and his brothers Şahmerdan and Şahistan POLAT entered the furniture business.
Second Branch
The second branch opened, expanding the family business.
Education
Yılmaz POLAT graduated from Bülent Ecevit University, Business Administration.
Manufacturing
Yılmaz POLAT moved into furniture manufacturing.
International Relations
İsmail POLAT graduated from Trakya University, International Relations.
Agriculture
Yılmaz POLAT entered the agriculture business.
Master's Degree
İsmail POLAT completed the Master's in Global Politics & International Relations at Bahçeşehir University; conducted studies on political elites and opinion leaders across Russia, the USA, Qatar, and Central Asia.

İsmail POLAT founded POLAT GP REKLAM ORGANİZASYON EĞİTİM SANAYİ VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ.
Renovation & Projects
Expanded into home renovation and project works.
PhD
İsmail POLAT completed the PhD in Regional Studies & International Relations at the National Defense University.
